Music of The Day (MoTD): Jo Stafford - You Belong to Me

Last weekend I watched The Deep Blue Sea, a movie by Terence Davies, starred Rachel Weisz and Tom Hiddleston. It's a 1950-set movie, bags of emotions, erotic-romance.. such a beautiful movie! To my knowledge, Tom has played two times as an attractive young man in old-set movies, such as The Deep Blue Sea and Midnight in Paris. At first I downloaded the movie, I was giving note to my self, a note to keep calm whatever happen in it. So, yeah. I can't. That bed-scence. I mean, Tom's porcelaine skin, so white, clean, and bright (ups.. sorry, too vulgar :P -I can't handle my self when describing Tom). But in this post, I'm going to share you guys one beautiful thing (besides Tom) from the movie. It's a song sung by Jo Stafford, called "you belong to me". OMG. It's extremely pretty melody, I can dance myself when I heard it. You could also hear it below: (Hope you enjoy!) Angger x

You Belong to Me

See the pyramids along the Nile
Watch the sun rise on a tropic isle
But just remember, darling, all the while
You belong to me

See the marketplace in old Algiers
Send me photographs and souvenirs
Just remember when a dream appears
You belong to me

I'll be so alone without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too and blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
Just remember till you're home again
You belong to me

I'll be so alone and without you
Maybe you'll be lonesome too and blue
Fly the ocean in a silver plane
See the jungle when it's wet with rain
But remember, darling, till you're home again
That you belong to me
